Things to do
3-

Ston Town Museum and Walls
A medieval fortified town on the Pelješac Peninsula with 14.5 miles of stone walls (the longest in Europe) and a small museum documenting the Republic of Ragusa's control of the salt trade and naval strategy.
-
Walls of Ston
Climb from the Ston side early or late in the day; the steps are steep, unshaded and take about an hour round trip.
-
Ston Saltworks
Short, genuinely interesting stop with a small museum; visit in July or August if watching the manual harvest matters.
