Ninety seconds on Canefield
Two things sit in the strip immediately north of Roseau: the island's second airport, and the sugar works that gave the place its name. Neither is a destination and everyone driving north passes both. It is not a destination in itself, but the restored mill at its centre is the clearest surviving piece of the sugar economy on the leeward coast, and everyone driving north out of the capital passes through it.
