Brandy Falls
A fall in the forest above the north west coast, reached on a rough walk in that involves river crossings.

The park around the island's highest mountain, set aside to protect the forest holding the last populations of the Sisserou and jaco parrots.

Morne Diablotins
At 1,447 metres the highest point on Dominica and the second highest in the Lesser Antilles, named for the black-capped petrel that once nested on it. The climb is steep, muddy and takes most of a day.

Syndicate Nature Trail
An easy loop through mature rainforest on the western slope of Morne Diablotin, cut as the parrot reserve and the standard place to look for the Sisserou and the jaco.
