Ninety seconds on Delices
The White River runs cloudy past this village, carrying volcanic sediment down off the Boiling Lake watershed, and the water is the reason anyone makes the drive out. The road is long and the last stretch is rough. The river below runs cloudy white with volcanic sediment carried down from the Boiling Lake basin, which is what gives it its name. Reaching the falls means wading it several times.
