Ninety seconds on Bečići
Nearly two kilometres of sand and fine shingle immediately south of Budva, backed by the largest concentration of resort hotels in the country. The beach is the town, and a promenade runs the length of it and on around the headland into Budva in about half an hour on foot. It is a straightforward beach holiday rather than a Montenegrin one, which suits travellers who want a full service hotel and the old town close enough to walk to after dinner.
Loungers take the front rows in season and the good ones are gone by half past nine, which is the practical difference between this beach and a quieter one. The path behind it runs the whole bay and does not stop at Becici.
