Send us the photo. We'll put your name on it.
Correspondents photograph the places Meridian Dispatch covers. If your photo is chosen, it runs on that place's guide with your name, your profile picture and a link to your work.
This is how a credit looks on a guide. Add your photo and it appears here.
Photo received.
The desk reviews every photo by hand. If yours is chosen, we'll email you the moment it's live on the guide.
How it works
Send a photo
Pick the place, add your photo and the credit you want. It takes a minute.
The desk reviews it
Every photo is checked by hand: that it's yours, that it shows the place, and that it's the best picture the guide could carry.
Your name goes on it
A chosen photo runs on the guide with your name, your profile picture from your link, and on the credits page. We email you when it's live.
What makes the cut
- The place itself. The view you'd travel for, not a selfie in front of it.
- No faces up close. Crowds at a distance are fine; a stranger's portrait is not.
- Sharp and wide. Landscape, at least 1600 pixels on the long side, no heavy filters.
- Yours, and real. No watermarks, no stock, nothing made with AI.
The licence
You keep the copyright. By sending a photo you grant Meridian Dispatch a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to show it on the website, in the app and in its social posts, always with your credit.
Change your mind at any time: write to dispatch@meridiandispatch.com and the photo and credit come down. Credit links are marked as user-submitted.
