Plan the trip.
Keep the journal.

The Meridian Dispatch archive: every trip a dispatch, led by its best photograph. Peru, then Malta and the United Kingdom.
How it works

Nothing to log. Ever.

You already take the photos. The journal writes itself from there.

Before · Plan

Plan your trip.

Forward your confirmations. Hotels, flights and trains land on the right days, and the app names what is still unbooked.

Before · Choose

Fill the days.

Every suggestion comes with a verdict: why to go, how far it is from your hotel, and how long to stay.

During · Go

Just take photos.

Nothing to switch on, no evening spent captioning. The photographs are the record.

After · Keep

Come home to a journal.

The day after you land it is written: every place named, every day laid out like a magazine.

The only travel memory app you need
“This app laid everything out day by day, matched to where I was, with descriptions of each place, like reliving the trip in order instead of squinting at a chaotic grid. Then, one click, and it became a printed photo book that reads like a travel journal. I’ve already ordered two.”

Fav New Travel App
“I’m genuinely obsessed with this app. It automatically detects your international trips from your camera roll and turns them into these beautifully organized, magazine style travel journals... Seeing highlights from each place brought back so many memories I forgot I even had.”

The Ultimate Travel Companion
“As soon as I entered my flight information, the app created a personalized itinerary and recommended incredible restaurants, museums, landmarks, and hidden gems that I never would have found on my own. It felt like having a local guide in my pocket.”

The dispatches

Travel guides, one place at a time.

The app keeps your journal. Meridian Dispatch writes the guides: where to go, what it is really like, and how to do it well.

Country guides

Go deep on one country.

A country we know well gets a page of its own: its cities, its guides, and the places worth the detour, all on one map.

Questions

Before you download.

Is Meridian Dispatch free?

Free to download, and free covers the last five years of your trips plus one trip in planning. Membership opens every trip you have ever taken and as many plans as you like.

Where do my photos go?

Nowhere. No one has access to your photos but you: they are never copied or uploaded to any server. Trip detection runs on your iPhone, and the journal syncs only through your private iCloud.

Can I print or share a journal?

Every trip exports as a print-ready PDF journal, laid out like a magazine, or as a short video cut from your own photographs, made entirely on your phone. Share either anywhere; the app itself posts nothing.

What does it run on?

iPhone, on iOS 18 or later. Sign in with Apple, grant photo access, and the archive starts building on the spot.

How much does membership cost?

Membership is $19.99 a year. It opens every trip you have ever taken and as many plans as you like; without it, the free app still covers your last five years of trips and one trip in planning.

Does it track my location while I travel?

Never. The app cannot see your location at all: it never asks for location access, and nothing runs in the background while you travel. Trips are found from the geotags already on your photographs.
