The Las Vegas Grand Prix 2026 runs over three days, from Thursday 19 to Saturday 21 November, on the Las Vegas Strip Circuit, with the race itself on the Saturday night.
Lights out is at 8pm Las Vegas time on Saturday 21 November 2026. The start moved to 8pm in 2025, and that year the race was scheduled to finish by 10pm.
The choice comes down to the part of the lap a spectator wants to see. The Main Grandstand covers the start and finish, and the Sphere Zone its own run of corners. Other stands face Turn 3, Turn 4 and the Koval Straight, the chicane, and the Harmon Straight before the final turn.
The Las Vegas Strip Circuit is a 6.2 km street circuit with 17 corners, including a straight of 1.92 km, laid out on public roads through the middle of Las Vegas.
Tickets for 2026 are on sale now through the official Formula One ticket store. A one-day general admission ticket covers a single day, and three-day tickets can be paid for in instalments.
The Las Vegas Monorail runs nonstop through race week and stops near the viewing zones, and rideshare passengers are set down at the designated drop-off closest to their ticket zone.
Roads around the circuit close through race weekend, and at some checkpoints only ticket holders may continue. Most sidewalks along the circuit stay open, with pedestrians re-routed at certain spots for safety. In 2025 some local streets closed overnight and reopened each morning.
At past races, larger bags had to be clear totes or backpacks no bigger than about 30 by 15 by 30 cm, small handbags and belt bags were allowed, and every bag was searched at the gate. Outside food and drink were banned, and packing light sped up the bag check.
Late November nights in the desert can fall below 10°C after dark, and the sessions run late into the evening, so a warm jacket and layers belong in the bag for every night.
In the middle of Las Vegas, the Strip's own roads become a street circuit for race weekend, past the Bellagio and the Venetian. Las Vegas first held Formula One races in 1981 and 1982, as the Caesars Palace Grand Prix, and Caesars Palace still stands beside today's lap.
19 to 21 Nov 2026
Formula One races the streets of Las Vegas after dark, past the lit hotels of the Strip. If you only go for one night, make it the Saturday.
19 to 21 Nov 2026. Times are approximate and can change from year to year.
First practice runs from 4:30pm to 5:30pm and second practice from 8pm to 9pm. With no grid or result at stake, Thursday is the night to learn the walk between your gate, your seat and the monorail.
Third practice runs from 4:30pm to 5:30pm. Qualifying, from 8pm to 9pm, sets the grid for Saturday.
Saturday is the race. In 2025 a drivers' parade ran from 6pm to 6:30pm, before lights out.
The Main Grandstand sits near the start and finish line. From it you see the pre-race ceremonies, the start, the chequered flag, the pit lane and the fight into the first turn.
The Sphere Zone sits beside the Sphere, with trackside views of Turns 5 to 9 and live music. This year it hosts a music festival across race weekend.
Grand Prix Plaza, the entertainment complex inside the Pit Building, has a karting track with a new layout this year.
A race night starts with the bag check at the gate, then moves between your seat, the food stalls and the fan zone.
Settle how you will get home before the race. Monorail queues after the race are long, and cars cannot reach the edge of the circuit during event hours.
Book your room as soon as you hold tickets, ideally within walking distance of your zone or near a monorail station. On race weekend, any resort inside the circuit asks for a pass or proof of a room, restaurant or show reservation before it lets you in, so keep your booking to hand.
