A caldera complex in the Dyngjufjöll mountains inside Vatnajökull National Park. The summit caldera runs about 8 km across; the eruption of March 1875 dropped a second caldera of about 5 km, now filled by Öskjuvatn at 220 metres deep, with the warm crater Viti beside it.
