Ninety seconds on the Đurđevića Tara Bridge
The best view is from the platform just below the road on the southeastern side, where the whole span fits one frame. Stop there first, then walk out on the deck, when it is open, to look straight down to the river.
A walkway runs beside the road, and crossing takes about ten minutes at an easy pace. On the Žabljak side, information panels tell the bridge's wartime story, and a monument to Lazar Jauković stands beside it. A path on that side leads to viewpoints above and below the deck.
Rougher, unmarked tracks drop toward the river for a view from underneath, so wear proper shoes and expect to use your hands. Two companies run ziplines across the gorge. One is just over a kilometre long and very fast; the other is shorter, with twin lines so two riders can go side by side.
