Knitwear in Chilote wool is the strong suit, with baskets and carved wood beside it. A few counters sell excursions out of town, so a day trip can be booked on the same errand as a jumper.
A seafood counter and a restaurant share the building with the craft stalls that fill both floors. For cheese, Chilote potatoes, fruit, vegetables and shellfish, the town's other market, the Feria Municipal on Pedro Montt between Dieciocho and Prat, sells food on its ground floor and crafts above, and has public toilets. The municipal walking route links the two: the Feria first, then along Arturo Prat to this market and the Muelle Prat, and on to Fuerte San Antonio.
