The reason to be in Cavtat at all for art: small, well curated, and a ten-minute walk from the harbour front.

Ten minutes from Mlini and worth the climb from the harbour car park; keep it to a short stop before the border queue.

The easiest stop of the morning: flat waterfront parking, and an hour covers both the Bukovac house and the walk up to the mausoleum.

Cavtat Riviera and Waterfront
Coastal town 14 miles south of Dubrovnik with a palm-lined waterfront promenade, small pebble beaches, and a 15th-century harbour. The town is the birthplace of painter Vlaho Bukovac and has a local museum in his former home.
