Fleischer's Hotel
A timber hotel of 1889 with dragon style gables, standing beside the lake and the railway station since the Bergen Line arrived. It has been run by the same family for five generations.

Skjervsfossen
A 150 metre fall on the old road down to Granvin, with a stone stair and a viewing platform built into the rock beside it. It is lit at night through the dark months, which is unusual for a waterfall this size.

Stalheimskleiva
Thirteen hairpins dropping 250 metres in a mile and a half, at a gradient of eighteen per cent, between two waterfalls in the Naeroydalen. It is one way downhill only, closed in winter, and the view from the top of it is the reason coaches still make the detour.

Tvindefossen
A 110 metre fall spread wide over terraced rock beside the E16 north of the town, with a campsite and a car park at the foot of it. It takes ten minutes and is the easiest waterfall stop in the district.

Vangskyrkja
A stone church of about 1277 that survived the bombing of the town in April 1940 when almost nothing around it did. The timber ceiling paintings inside date from the 1690s.

Voss Gondol
A cable car running from beside the railway station to Hangursfjellet at 820 metres, opened in 2019 and among the largest in the Nordic countries. It carries skiers in winter and walkers and paragliders in summer from the same platform.
