Ninety seconds on Kanli Kula
Come at sunset and take a seat in the amphitheatre. When no show is on, you can sit on the tiered seats and look out over Herceg Novi.
Past the ticket booth, a flight of stairs brings you into the amphitheatre. From there you can walk a circuit of the walls in about ten minutes and spend the rest of the hour on the views.
To the west you look down over the town to Forte Mare on the shore. To the east the view crosses the water to the mountains of Lovćen. The Montenegrin and Herceg Novi flags on the walls make the obvious photograph.
A café and a small souvenir shop sit inside, but both can be shut on public holidays.
