Porto Montenegro
Two Yugoslav navy submarines sit on the dry dock in front of the superyachts. This was the Austro-Hungarian Arsenal and then the navy's own yard until 2006, and the collection in the old sawmill is about that.

Naval Heritage Collection
Porto Montenegro occupies the yard where the Austro-Hungarian and then the Yugoslav navy fitted out ships, and this collection keeps what was left behind: torpedoes from the Rijeka works, uniforms, charts, ship models and two small submarines set up on the quay outside. Labels are bilingual and the rooms stay cool. An hour covers it, longer with a guide.

Buća-Luković Museum and Gallery
The Buća family of Kotor held an estate at Tivat from the Middle Ages, and their Renaissance summer house stands in the centre of the town. It holds the town's museum and gallery now.

Tivat City Market
A short walk inland from the waterfront, the green market gathers growers from the Grbalj plain and the Luštica peninsula with tomatoes, figs, honey and rounds of cheese kept under cloth. Fish is sold at the counters beside it. Mornings are the whole of it, and by early afternoon the stalls are being hosed down and the traders have gone home.
