Things to do
4-
Rosalie Bay
A black sand bay on the Atlantic coast at the mouth of the Rosalie River, one of the main leatherback nesting beaches on the island. The surf is strong and nobody swims it.
-
Rosalie Bay Resort
An eco resort on the river mouth built around the turtle nesting season, with its own conservation programme and a distillery on the property.
-
Rosalie Estate Ruins
The stone remains of a sugar and lime estate above the bay, including the mill works, left standing in the scrub between the river and the sea.
-
Wavine Cyrique
A waterfall that drops off the cliff edge straight onto a black sand beach on the east coast. The descent to the sand is steep, informal and has changed since Hurricane Maria.
