Jungle Bay
A wellness resort of cottages on a ridge above Soufriere bay, rebuilt on the south west coast after Hurricane Erika destroyed its original site on the east in 2015.

Bubble Beach
A stony beach in Soufriere bay where volcanic gas rises through the shallows and warms the water. A low wall of stones has been built to hold a pool at the edge of the sea.

Fort Cachacrou
The remains of a French battery on the Scotts Head promontory, built to watch the channel toward Martinique. Little is left but the position, which explains itself.

Scotts Head
A headland at the island's southern tip joined to the mainland by a narrow tombolo, with Atlantic swell on the east side and flat Caribbean water on the west. The climb to the top takes about fifteen minutes.

Soufriere Sulphur Springs
Vents and hot pools on the hillside above the village, with built bathing pools fed by the springs. The ground around them is stained yellow and the smell reaches the road.
