Agadir Sidi Moussa
A round fortified granary crowns a conical hill in the middle of the valley, built to store each family's grain behind one guarded door. Restored by the community, it also carries a shrine tradition. The climb from the road is short, and the top looks the length of the valley.

Ibaqalliwn Dinosaur Footprints
Tracks left by large dinosaurs cross a tilted slab of rock near the hamlet of Ibaqalliwn, east of Tabant. The prints are shallow and read best in low morning or evening light. Signs are few, so a valley guide helps find them, and a short walk from the road reaches the slab.

Jbel Azourki
Rising northeast of the valley to over 3,600 metres, this limestone summit makes a demanding day climb from the upper villages. Juniper woods give way to bare scree near the top, which looks south across the valley to M'Goun. Guides and mules are hired in the valley.

M'Goun
A long whaleback ridge topping 4,000 metres closes the valley to the south. The ascent from the villages is a trek of two to three days with a mountain guide and mules, crossing the Tarkeddit plateau, where a refuge offers bunks. Snow lingers on the summit ridge into May.
