Church of St Wenceslas
A Baroque parish church stands at the top of the square, just below the castle gate, in the form it took in the eighteenth century. The interior holds painted altars under a vaulted nave. Opening outside service times is irregular, so a look through the grille at the door is often the whole visit.

Loket Castle
Romanesque and Gothic walls rise from a rock above the Ohře, with a square tower that looks over the river loop and the town roofs. Inside, the rooms show local porcelain, a torture chamber and a display on a meteorite found nearby. It is open all year with shorter winter hours, and last entry is half an hour before closing.

Svatošské skály
Granite towers stand on the left bank of the Ohře between Loket and Karlovy Vary, shaped by erosion into pillars that local legend reads as a wedding party turned to stone. A marked riverside path from Loket reaches them in about 6 km of easy, shaded walking. Canoes on the river pass right below them in summer.
