Colonnade on Reistna
High on the Reistna hill above town, this classical arcade was raised by the Liechtensteins as a memorial and lookout. A footpath climbs through vineyards from the château in about twenty minutes. Stairs inside lead to a roof terrace with views over the Lednice ponds and into Austria. The terrace opens seasonally, daily in high summer.

Temple of Diana
Known locally as Rendez-vous, this triumphal arch stands alone in the woods about three kilometres northeast of the château, built for the princes' hunting meets. Reliefs of the goddess cover the facade, and the upper rooms hold a small exhibition with a lookout. A flat forest track links it to Valtice for cycling or walking, and the upper rooms keep short summer hours.

Valtice Castle
For centuries the main seat of the Liechtenstein princes, this baroque château has gilded halls, a private theatre and a chapel rich in stucco. Interiors are shown on guided tours from April to October, with shorter weekend hours at the edges of the season. A palm house and gardens sit behind. Cellars beneath hold the Wine Salon of the Czech Republic.

Wine Salon of the Czech Republic
Every year a national competition picks one hundred Czech wines, and this vaulted cellar under the château pours them for the following year. Tastings are timed and self guided, with staff on hand, and groups book by phone. It closes on Mondays, opens Sundays only from June to September, and shuts through January while the new selection is installed.
