Ninety seconds on Písac

An Inca complex on the ridge above a Sacred Valley town, with agricultural terraces stepped down the mountainside and tombs cut into the cliff face opposite. The market fills the square below it daily and is at its largest on Sunday. The road climbs past the town to an upper gate, so the site is usually walked downhill from there, about two hours of it at 2,972 metres.
