Arosa Bear Sanctuary
Three hectares of hillside at 2,000 metres, reached by the Weisshorn lift, holding brown bears taken out of circuses and concrete enclosures in eastern Europe. It opened in 2018 and it is the only place of its kind in the Alps.

Arosa Rail Line
A metre-gauge line from Chur that runs along the public street through the city before climbing 1,155 metres in twenty-six kilometres, over the Langwies viaduct, which was the largest reinforced concrete arch in the world when it opened in 1914.

Obersee
The lake in the middle of the village with the path around it and the ice rink on it in winter, at 1,734 metres. It is the centre of Arosa in the way a square is the centre of a town elsewhere.

Weisshorn
The local summit at 2,653 metres, reached by cable car in two stages, looking across to the Plessur range and down both sides of the ridge. It is not the Valais Weisshorn and it is a far easier proposition.
