4-

Glacier 3000
A cable car from the Col du Pillon to 2,971 metres at Scex Rouge, with a Mario Botta station and a suspension bridge that is the only one in the world joining two mountain summits. The glacier below it is walked on in summer.
-

Gstaad Palace
The turreted hotel on the hill above the village, open since 1913 and run by the same family since 1938, which is the building Gstaad means. Its nightclub in the old air raid shelter has been running since 1971.
-
Lauenensee
A lake in a protected moor valley south of the village at 1,381 metres, with waterfalls off the wall behind it in the melt and a flat path around it. It is the quiet counterweight to the promenade.
-
Saanen Church
A late Gothic church of 1444 in the next village with a cycle of about forty wall paintings of the life of Saint Maurice uncovered in the 1940s. Yehudi Menuhin began his festival in it in 1957.
