Castel Govone
A fifteenth-century fortress above Finalborgo, reached on a steep walled path. It looks over the valleys that hold most of the climbing and riding. The walls above it carry more ruin than restoration, and the climb up from the village takes about twenty minutes.

Finalborgo
The intact medieval quarter a kilometre inland, walled and closed to traffic, and the place a day on the rock ends in. Bars, bike shops and a Saturday market sit inside the walls, and the crags above it are reached on foot or by shuttle.

Grotta delle Arene Candide
A cave occupied for more than twenty thousand years, where the Palaeolithic burial known as the Young Prince was found. The trails around it run through the climbing sectors above the coast. Access to the cave itself is on guided visits arranged through the museum in Finale.

Rocca di Perti
The best known of the Finale crags, on the limestone above Finalborgo. Finale holds close to 2,800 routes across more than a hundred sectors, which is what makes it the crown of Italian Riviera climbing and a winter destination. Approach walks are short and the sectors face several directions.
