Castello Doria
The eleventh-century watchtower on the rock above the harbour, climbed by a stepped lane from the main street. The circular terrace at the top looks straight down on the only natural port in the Cinque Terre.

Chiesa di Santa Margherita d'Antiochia
A Ligurian Gothic church standing directly on the waterfront, so close that storms break against its east wall. It is entered unusually through what was the apse end.
